Meet our Instructor: Joseph A. Nevil

I served four years active duty in the United States Air Force after high school from 2005-2009. After which I attended San Antonio College and the University of Texas at San Antonio graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. I graduated from the San Antonio College Law Enforcement Academy in March of 2016. I am the Lead Firearms Instructor for our law enforcement agency’s Firearms Training Unit teaching Pistol Marksmanship, Patrol Rifle, Patrol Shotgun, and Pistol Mounted Optics. I have been involved in the firearms industry for the last 10 years and look forward to training with you! Firearm skills are perishable and require upkeep and repetition to maintain proficiency. My training environment is informal yet challenging, and strictly adheres to the firearm safety rules and best practices.

TCOLE Advanced Peace Officer, TCOLE Basic Instructor, TCOLE Firearms Instructor, TCOLE Patrol Rifle Instructor, TCOLE Precision Rifle Qualified, NRA Basic Instructor and NRA Chief Range Safety Officer credential. FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot, Defensive Tactics/PPCT Instructor, TASER Instructor, ALERRT Level I Instructor, Various Armorer Certifications, as well as a Federal Firearms License holder.
